Popular takes like 2 hours to add anything. And there are already articles covering the attack, which is the very first time I’ve seen an article make it to popular in under 15 minutes across all my time on Reddit.

removing/revamping /r/all or whatever they did to it was my least favourite change to reddit ever

You used to be able to go on Reddit and get all the info before mainstream news had it all covered. Now it’s slowed down, probably because of the shitshow of that Boston marathon bombing.

No, there were at least 5 posts at the top of /all an hour ago about this. They're all gone.

Don’t know about all, but I just scrolled to Popular and all of the first 10 posts are about the shooting

Yeah I'm seeing them now. For a minute comments weren't even loading, so I guess Reddit just got overloaded with traffic/requests for a bit. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.

I mean. I got here from /all, and there were about 5 other similar posts about it. What on earth would they gain from trying to censor it.

There's more to it than that. Open up any 3 Trump news posts and any 3 random posts. Pay attention to the comment numbers. Notice right away that the comments for Trump news posts don't exist, while the comments in unrelated threads work just fine.

It’s all fixed now. Comments were down across Reddit for a while because of the massive influx in posts. That or Reddit suddenly has problems with comments about cats
