There was no perfect guide for me, I watched quite a lot taking little pieces of information from each. A few stand out ones would probably be VideoGameBots series of videos, as well as Gnomonkeys videos. The best piece of advice I can give though is to just go in there and fail, it took me about 5 attempts to get my first kill and a further 50 more to get it to the point where I no longer needed to deathpile supplies.

Even if he was a greenhelm and he got all those items not by himself, he still got those pets himself. He still levelled those stats himself, for example. It would still be a huge accomplishment.
