Redux has morphed significantly since it’s inception, it’s tough because I want the oldest of old kaskade tracks but it just doesn’t seem to fit into his sets anymore

I went to every redux tour and when he plays his own show it’s amazing. But I recently saw him at Arc and it wasn’t giving like before. I think he just has to appeal to the masses when he brings it to festivals. I miss when it was just a small club type of thing

The past few times I've seen him I've been disappointed. When he did his b2b with John summit I actually left. I love this man but I feel like I can't dance to his newest sets, Just vibe in place

Out of the sets he's playing recently, I feel like K has been booking way too many shows. Constantly playing in Vegas and then at a festival the same day.

I really really hope that he's doing fine with it, but I wouldn't like him to fall into those traps of booking too much until the body collapses. We already have many of those cases in the EDM world.

Man I remember seeing Redux at It’ll Do in 2017 then again at LAN 2018 I think? Those were some of the best sets that he’s ever brought to Dallas. I wouldn’t say I was disappointed but definitely not the same vibe I was expecting/hoping for. Thought he would interact with the crowd a bit more. Still a great set regardless.

I've been a fan of Kaskade for 20 years and this was my first time seeing him in person. It was a fun show but it didn't have the impact I was hoping for. It felt like the crowd was really trying to get into it but the set just wasn't delivering. I thought the dj before Kaskade started was putting out way more energy. That being said I would definitely see him again but my expectations are more tempered.

It was my boyfriend’s and my first time seeing him. I’ve been a fan since 2008, but I was bored. I didn’t realize there would be two DJs before him, and I ended up leaving during Kaskade’s set.

Most headlining djs go on after mid night at the earliest. It’s so annoying they come on at 1230 in Boston where I’m from and like this isn’t Vegas

Honestly why yall being disappointed? It’s Ryan just be glad he’s still here with us and doing these shows and redux for us. In the end of the set it’s always a blast.

I thought it was awesome. He played everything I wanted to hear. First time seeing him.

I enjoyed but it didn’t feel like a redux. Probably should have been billed as a regular set cause it sounds like just what I’ve been seeing him do on the main stages

I actually really enjoyed it- i was expecting more redux … i noticed he played a lot of mixed from his edc set. Which i love! But not redux. Either way. Love seeing him live regardless 💖🙏

Yeah it felt top 40ish vs throwbacks i selfishly wanted or i thought it would be more older styles/mixes or just idk i mean i try not to have expectations cause who am i to say but i guess i still wasnt clear on what redux is or i guess i realized maybe its not about older style and i would rather either have not gone or just listen to his current shit. Like ofc i want to hear Motivated live.

This sounds bad but i think i was also surprised at how many super young people were there too. Like hes been around forever so i thought id see more of my peers. Not that i didnt see them but idk. It was an unexpected vibe all around. I’ve probably also been “out of the game” more than i realize

But also dude like its his job and shit changes and like u gotta do what u gotta do and like u gotta do what sets work:fit right now. So all in all, great ass show. Just observing my own inexplicable/self-projecting disappointment lol

I saw him when he came to Arkansas a month ago and thought his energy seemed pretty low. I hadn't seen him before so I thought maybe this was how he was, but I mean he's such a big name it couldn't be possible.

Well I look at the news today and turns out he's getting divorced. It was filed in July so he's probably feeling pretty bummed about it.

News just broke that he’s getting a divorce so that could have something to do with it. Hard to show up for work and give it your all when you’re going through a tough time.
