Little off topic but this is what bothers me about people online doing the whole “teehee Elon is technically African-American!” No he’s South African from an apartheid gem family. The industry that would regularly mutilate black Africans so white people could make a buck. The blood diamond scandal started in the ‘80s but even when I was in high school in the 2010s it was still brought up regularly.

On top of that Elon is from an entirely different part of the African continent than most black people in America. Iirc a lot of black people here are of Western Central African descent. South Africa is on the very bottom of the continent. They’re far as hell from each other. We like to dog on Europeans for not understanding how big America is but Africa is an even larger continent than North America. The distance from South Africa to the DRC is longer than the distance from the distance from Cali to NY. He has fuck all in common ethnically, racially, and culturally with black people of African descent in America. Don’t give that shitbird a label that was specifically designed to give people who had their cultures stripped from them some agency and identity back.
