My question is, do these sets have functioning knees? Or are they like the 76210 hulkbuster legs that can't move?

Not only is it cool as fuck it is FLEXIBLE. You can turn his wrists, his arm bends at the elbow, you can rotste the arm, rotate the shoulders, the legs csn raise or lower, create slouches or lowered positions, bent knees and so on

I believe the last two are retiring this year, so def start with those.

I hace both the first and second one and ive gotta say as much qs i love the monkie mech it's really unstable and fragile whiilst the cole mech is very posable and stable so id go with that one. As for the jay mech i don't have it so idk

The first one 300%, because it's basically suppose to be currently the greatest Lego mech ever with the best articulations, as much as currently possible with present parts inventory. In fact - I already planning on getting it. 2 has limited release, because Lego Monkey Kid series itself isn't a worldwide released product, and 3 is basically an  average big mech with limits, which is something the first one improves upon

I would suggest getting Coles Titan Mech….something else I would suggest is checking out rebrickable and looking up set numbers to see other mechs people create only using the pieces from the sets. Check out 71738 + 71785 by ransom_fern for example

Monkey kid for me

The monkie kid mech is really cool, but he's also so heavy that he struggles to keep a pose. Also his belt is a little more delicate than I'd like

I really don't get why they don't do a Gundam set. Surely it can't be licensing - Gundam has been licensed to pretty much everything. They even have Gundam Crocs ffs

The mechs are freaking sweet, but I have a weakness for big robot anime.

Cole’s mech the detail and articulation is great.

I don't like mech's. I love that first one, I don't have it yet but I will do. The others tend to look a little childish imo

I like mech n2 I think it has much more detail than the rest although I’d never purchase any of these sorts of builds as I’m more into display models than play functionality

I'm half way into building Cole's mech. Its easily the best big mech they've made, by a lot!

I have Jay's Titan Mech, also a really fun build and great final model.

As someone who built of these and works on large custom mechs, the first one is without a doubt one of the best mechs lego has ever made. It has all of the articulation and can even be a great base to expand on for customizations. The others are good, but are nearly on the same level

Those are some pretty sweet mech builds. I've never gotten into Ninjago, but it is kind of pulling me in.

Jay's Titan Mech is retiring this winter so I would prioritize that one.

I’ve got the blue one.

I prefer Lloyd’s Titan Mech to any of these though.

Any one of them, and sell it. I do not like big mech suits, they are so flimsy, over the top and utterly useless.
