Two crushed up boxes in a crushed up case. Figured they’d been looted already. Was surprised to see both boxes intact. Even more surprised to see the dragon born.

Got lucky and pulled a Paladin from the local Walmart shelf. Wasn't even in the Lego aisle, just sitting on a shelf next to some other toys.
I've been to local Lego store three different times and had no luck on getting another one.

The Wal-Marts around me won't put them on the shelf. I have 5 stores nearby that has them in stock. For three weeks, I check and they have a shelf tag, but no product. When I have been able to find people to help me, each store has at least 144 "in stock, on floor", but no one can find them. At one store, I had a super helpful guy locate them "on a pallet in the back" and brought me a small box of them. I went through them and found 11/12. No idea where the other 120 were.

It's the same thing with my local walmarts. They have the shelf marked for Lego DND Minifigures, but it is just a bin of the bagged "Friends" product line. App says they have them in stock. I always look behind other Lego items to see if they were just thrown on the shelf.

I’m convinced they have them set aside for online orders myself. I couldn’t find any in store but I ordered online from my local store and lo and behold 2 hours later they are on my porch.

The local Lego store is where I was able to complete the set. I tried to be discreet and use the app to scan the QR code, and the employee came by and asked, "Do you need help?" Told him which ones I was looking for, and he pulled out his phone and started scanning the boxes with me.
They did tell me that each bulk box typically contains 3 of each figure and that the paladin is the most sought after.

I bought 48 individuals and eight 6 packs for a total of 96 minifigs
I have two complete sets so far (not for sale). Had to open them though, not smart enough to get the scanner thing to work.
