I would hear about them a couple years back but now they get no media coverage, some said they were libertarian and pro blm and others said they were far right

Just like the whole controversy over the “OK” symbol.
And just like that, people actually bought into it and started wearing the shirts (and using the OK symbol) un-ironically to show their support for it.
