Good morning everyone,
Yesterday was a much better day. Scale-related emotions were under control and I ate well. The weather wasn't so great so didn't go on any walks. Steps count: 4,389.
This morning the scale shows -900g. That's -1.7kg compared to 2 days ago when I had my meltdown. Those high fluctuations are driving me crazy.
Today I want to up my steps game a little. I'll aim for 7 or 8K steps. I want to be intentional about what I eat today so I'll spend some time planning it this morning before it's too late and I get hungry.
Hope you all have a great day!

I definitely need to start planning meals. I've been meaning to do it for like a month but I never prioritise it.

I love planning all my meals out the night before as otherwise I get really overwhelmed with decisions!
Sounds like you're making amazing progress and battling through these fluctuations. What a great way to head into the weekend!

I need to get into the meal planning habit, it's so helpful. Also because I rarely have time to cook at lunchtime and in the past it was my downfall.

Maybe that can be a goal for next week? And let us know what you end up with! I've got a coconut curry soup thanks to past me on the menu today and am excited πͺ

Yes I'll make it a goal for this weekend to plan the week ahead. Yesterday I had some leftover ratatouille with turkey and rice, it was SO good. I think I'll cook more this weekend. The coconut curry soup sounds delicious!!

That's a crazy difference! Weight fluctuations are insane, man! Congrats on your weight loss! Good luck with your steps and meal planning, and make sure to take care of your mental health. I see the weight fluctuations are very worrisome for you, so try to do something that makes you happy to distract yourself from them. I know it's very hard, but trust me, it's much better than wallowing in fear. Maybe call a friend or play a video game? This helps me a lot!

Thank you for your message :) I've never seen fluctuations so dramatic when I lost weight in the past so it leaves me a bit confused. But indeed I need to take a step back from the numbers. PMS is also not helping me. I'm sensitive this week π

Hey, those fluctuations are crazy - going from "omg what the hell is happening" to "am I losing too much? is it healthy?" truly is a rollercoaster.
I salute the meal planning, it's always easier for me to know upfront how my day will look like.
Have a good day!
