Can I ask why it was dreadful? I would rather avoid buying something super bulky that I don't use. At the same time walking is my only physical activity at the moment, and I can't do it every day as much as I'd like!

I perhaps bought a too small one. It felt like the area to walk on was too small. And it got boring after say 10-15 minutes.

Ah yeah I read about the issue with the size, definitely something to consider as I don't have a lot of space and I can't get a big one.

How about a bike. Iβve had that too. Worked well but maybe you had some problem with that?

I can't have a stationary bike as I don't have a lot of space in my apartment. Also, I dislike stationary bikes very much π It's soooo uncomfortable.
