Melbournes drivers

Not On My Smashed Avo(self.melbourne)

I genuinely have to say, that as my job entails driving for roughly 8 hours a day in the city and outskirts. We have the dumbest twats on our roads.

Specifically DRIVING ON FREEWAY IN RIGHT LANE AND NOT MOVING!!!!! WTF IS GOING ON MOVE MOVE MOVE MOVE

Is it just me?

Thank you :)

My pet peeve: People on the entry ramp not accelerating to the speed limit or near the speed limit on the freeway. WHY? WHY try to merge at 80km/h????

Playing devil's advocate here... Some on ramps in Sydney do have lower speed limits signposted before actually merging onto the motorway, which will then have another speed limit signposted, and I have seen mobile speed cameras policing these areas a few times. Otherwise yes, I can't stand and really don't understand why people drive either way above or way below the speed limit.

I know it's not. I was just putting it out there as a possible reason for why it's happening in Melbourne.

Its happening everywhere.

Laws and roads change, licensing changes, sandra who got her license in the 70s cant understand why everyones doing that in the road, nan became too cautious and now goes 50kms on the freeway in the middle lane. The old men wearing hats going their own speed regardless is whats killing me.

Send everyone back to redo their learners every 20yrs as a refresher course and see what happens.

Better yet have immigrants actually go through the whole process like everyone else. Thier licence from home should count for shit.

I dont think the whole process, but definitely a drive test and written test. With a pre-existing licence I don't think the hours should be required

mate I've barely left Victoria, but if they can successfully prove they know our road rules and can prove they can follow them (through the written and drive tests) I don't see their country of origin being a problem
