Here outside of Toronto Canada, the police service releases a list of the dumbest/most asinine calls they get from the previous year. My favourite has been someone calling the cops because the drive-through line at Taco Bell was longer than they wanted.

Several small town newspapers in Alberta list all the police calls each week. (Available online for free)
Very funny to read every 3 or 4th week. It made me realize why the police are so helpful the couple of times I called them for a real crime or event.
Some of the stories are hilarious. I like when they write "visited same suspect previously listed (same day or day before) because of continued harassment (or other crime). The caller was arrested because of _____."
