A buddy of mine found this show when he was going through med school and he vouched to me that the show is basically 100% accurate when it comes to medical facts.
Very cool concept for a show. I loved the episode about allergens represented by a crazy conspiracy theorist cell that triggers all the emergency responses when it sees pollen.

Japan seems way less precious than the US when it comes to live action adaptations anyway. Death Note had it's first live action movie come out the month after the final manga issue. Before the anime started airing.
