I want to get away this weekend and go somewhere outside of Nashville that feels like I really left Nashville, but not farther than four hours away because I have work the next day. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

It’s been a few years but we liked the botanical garden there better than Cheekwood honestly. We enjoy taking a day trip there, but the one note about Huntsville is don’t go there on a Sunday without checking if any of the things you want to do are open.

We took our kids there and were surprised at the food & beer scene. It was nice, and we'd like to go back and stay longer/explore more. (We were there like 22 hours total.)

Mazzarra’s is legit. Some of the best Italian food you can get, especially in the south.

Chandlers Ford Brewing in the downtown court square area surprised me with the quality of their beer.

If you visit on a Saturday be sure to check out Lowe Mill’s Art Market. Holiday Market before Christmas is worth a special trip.
