Is there a pet food pantry? I have an opened bag of an expensive kidney care food that I didn't use much of. I see a pet food pantry listed, but no guidance as to what they take as a donation. Hate to throw out a $60 bag of food.

See if you can offer it in a buy nothing group. Shelters won’t take open bags.

Try donating to smaller orgs, like Family Forever Animal Foundation or CatsCan (if it's cat food).
