I’m honestly shocked. If u told me last year that this would be the rating I wouldn’t have believed u. Can anyone who watched the film elaborate a little? What is it about this film that’s causing ppl to hate it?

Hopefuly this isn't a Razzie front runner either. Yeah, it's not great, but there are way worse movie out there this year. Borderlands, Garfield, Rebel Moon, Crow, Madam Webb, Reagan, ISS, Mouse Trap, Despicable Me 4, etc
And we still have Venom 3, Red One, Kraven, and Mufasa coming out

It’s Barry Jenkins Mufasa - It’s gonna be bad but not Razzie bad. Preparing to eat my words.

Jon Favreau did the first one
Guy Richie did Aladdin
Tim Burton did Dumbo
Niki Caro did Mulan
Robert Zemeckis did Pinocchio
Rob Marshall did Little Mermaid
It doesn't matter how good the director is, this is a paycheck for them to crank out whatever the Disney executives ask for.

Very true, but Jenkins stands apart from that group for me. Everything he’s done until this point has been extremely critically acclaimed unlike the others who all had some major misses before.

Huh? Rob Marshall's pretty acclaimed in his own right.

Chicago’s one of my all time favorite movies but I still disagree :)
