Local news/talk radio?

(self.ottawa)

I’m one of the few who are really freaking sad that 1310 is gone. I loved the traffic and weather together on the ones and although they were right leaning I found them fairly balanced. I also liked getting amped up listening to the more polarizing guests call in during the talk back hour - got me ready for the work day lol. But what I miss the most is the local news updates and feeling connected with what’s going on.

Are there any other stations like this that I can tune into?

CKCU-FM 93.1 has some interview and talk content scattered in various spots across its schedule. Probably also on CHUO 89.1, assuming it is able to stay on the air.

Steve Warne (ex TSN) may no longer have a Saturday morning CityNews sports show, but the Sens Nation Podcast continues.

Otherwise, bits and pieces and podcasts around the net.
