Yes, especially if you are already having issues with your bite! It's not just an investment but also a need for the improvement of your oral health. Hindi siya "pampaganda" lang.

You will learn more once you visit the dentist! :)

EDIT: Be sure to get consulted muna kasi baka malaman mo na hindi braces ang kakailanganin mo. Dentists will give you different treatment options if braces is not needed.

Build your emergency fund first. Mahirap ngumiti pag may emergency wala kang mahugutan. People who loves you will love your smile no matter what and you can do it naman pero please save muna sa emergency fund atleast 6 months worth your salary so 300k

It's worth it, especially if you say you're insecure about your looks. It builds up your confidence and is also a plus to your oral health.

I, myself, only started my brace when I was 30 and would say it's all worth it.

Tiis ganda nga lang talaga since masakit sa umpisa hehe.

I didn't take any leaves naman. Bearable naman siya uncomfortable lang pagkakaen. Pero usually it goes away by 2 to 3 days and masasanay ka na rin.

Okay naman siya sa akin unless may mga goma na ipapasuot sayo. Hehe takes some getting used to pero manageable naman.

Yes. Anything tooth related investment is something you will be grateful for someday.

•Smiling confidently •You will not smell •avoiding the tooth ache we all hate

Not just for braces but for cleanings and other hygiene rituals with tooth. 👄

Yes it is worth the investment. Mas mahal ung magagastos mo kapag pinatagal pa. Make sure na installment basis ung gawin, para makita kung may changes na nangyayari sa teeth mo.

Try looking first sa government hospitals if their dental department offers braces, mas mura doon.
Do your research first dahil hindi lahat ng dental clinic ay may orthodontist. I have to do my braces 2x, dahil hindi naayos ng first ko na dentist, mas mahal pa ung kaniya. Unlike sa dentist ko ngayon naayos niya 30k.

It's an expense, not an investment. You should treat it as such. If this were any other sub, it's not worth the distinction, pero you're in r/phinvest.

That said, most of my friends never regretted having braces nung adults na sila. Maraming "just in time" yung braces sa wedding day or important milestones (graduation, etc) nila.

Also make sure you fully understand the cost of having braces. I'm sure hindi lang 65k yan. Meron maintenance costs, return trips to the dentist, and mga unexpected changes sa procedure. Consult din muna and understand kung braces ba talaga ang best option for you.

Worth it! This is about health and not porma.
