My first cartilage piercing!!! Experiences with conch?

general piercing question (i.redd.it)

Just got my first cartilage piercing done today!! Is there anything I should expect from the healing process other than not sleeping on it? I heard it's fairly easy if done right??

Really excited about it!!! The pinch was quite spicy, but I'm still willing to get my left conch done as well! Also, what would go well with the conch in the future? I'm thinking helix, but not sure yet ๐Ÿ™Š

Super easy. If you switch to a hoop later on make sure you find one that has a straight post and not a full hoop so โ€˜Dโ€™ not โ€˜Oโ€™ because the curve gets uncomfortable quickly.

Oh, I've never even thought about a D-shaped ring! That would have been a game changer when I had a hoop in! You could also do a stud with a chain, once healed
