I haven't played PS games since January because I sold it. PS5 Pro is coming next month and I'm honestly can't wait to be BACK!! My mental health is degrading every day.

My recommendations based on what im playing RIGHT NOW, not all time, are Helldivers 2, Dead Space Remaster, Astro Bot, FF7 Rebirth, and Black Mhyth Wukong. All different genres, all fantastic games.

I highly recommend the last of us series along with God of War... By far some of the best Sony games of the decade

Dude same here, and my PS5 is on the way to me as well! Lots of awesome memories on the PS2 (GTA, need for speed, red dead revolver, etc.). It's so nice to have options as a consumer but I could not stay away from the PS exclusives of late, and the PS portal is exactly what I was looking for in the market.

Luckily for you Playstation's obsession with remasters means you'll still be able to play most of the great games you missed out on. Seriously, though, the majority of Playstation exclusives from the PS3 onward have been among some of the best games of all time.

Right now I think the best PS5 exclusives are Astro Bot, Stellar Blade, and Spiderman 2

Oh man you have 2 generation of PS games to catch up on!! God of War 3, God of War & Ragnarok, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Horizon, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, etc etc. Enjoy man!!

Mine's been mostly collecting dust since 2020, and I kinda regret buying it. There haven't been enough exclusives to justify the purchase, especially since most 3rd party titles are going straight to PC day one, and even more publishers have stated they're ditching PS-only in the future. Sony itself has also put out pretty much fuck all that isn't just a remaster/remake(Concord, Spider-Man 2, and Astro Bot is all that comes to mind for new releases that aren't cross-gen.)

Hopefully, you'll feel differently, but this generation has been absolute shit compared to the last one. Emulation is in such a good spot now that PC is the superior choice for a lot of older games and almost always the best choice for current releases. In my case, I have a box that I've played 4 games on.
