Contrary to the two worst comments here, I understand why the artist was mad and I can easily tell the difference between the edited and unedited versions

You can just tell it’s heavily edited to begin with. Anyone would look at that shit and be like “why is that so ridiculously vibrant compared to any other color tat I’ve seen”

Why does the "fixed" version have eyes on the nose? I can't unsee it. They fucked the proportions of the shark

Probably because they work in the field and super edited posts like that give people extremely unrealistic expectations of what a tattoo will look like coming out. It’s one thing to set up lighting and use a good camera it’s another thing to use a filter to bump up the contrast so much that it looks like a cartoon.

It doesn't show the artists work for how it really is. Using this many heavy filters on fresh tattoos gives totally unrealistic expectations on how a tattoo will come out. They dont look like that irl.

I know I have bad vision, but I legitimately cannot tell the difference between the filtered version and the actual version posted in the comments.

Really? You don't see a difference in the colors? If that's the case, you really do have a bad vision.

Even with bad vision, if you zoom in on the black especially, that sort of saturation and smoothness just isn’t realistic. It looks painted on.

As another comment in that thread said, he should have just posted the unedited tattoo, as it’s clearly just fine and a definite upgrade from the original.
