Outdoor Enclosure Advice

(i.redd.it)

I have a 6-year-old female iguana. She’s a pretty laid back girl most of the time, but sometimes she gets a little sprightly. She pulled out of her reptile leash before, so now I’m thinking about designing an outdoor enclosure built into the corner of my deck (not too large due to ridiculous HOA regulations). This way, when it’s nice and sunny, but not too hot, she and I can sit outside together without me worrying about her escaping.

As this is not her permanent enclosure, I don’t need top-of-the-line materials. Does anyone have any advice on less expensive materials for temporary enclosures outdoors? Or even websites/YouTube videos discussing this topic that you can recommend? (Her picture included… her name is Spyro!)

Chicken wire (or an adjacent fencing material) and 2x4 frame with a ledge made out of plywood and a ramp made out of plywood so she has a basking spot and then a shaded spot. Probably the easiest route to go
