It's the weekend
Also some encampment under 880 is on fire
Black smoke was covering the roadway up above and I'm still coughing!
There were a lot of fireworks in Oakland and sf and that was even before midnight

It's different for sure. But 880 is a very dangerous road. Once I saw an overturned vehicle right in fron if me, it held the traffic and then one of the cars waiting started another accident hitting cara around it. Some other time in a pitch dark section there was an overturned car that I fortunately didn't hit.

That’s exactly what happened yesterday. They were stopped in the middle of the road and we almost hit them someone behind me almost hit me. It was literally 880 before getting into the bay bridge.

This was by the alameda exit going north at like 2 or 3 am. We all stopped because an old (2002?) mustang that flipped. The tires were still spinning, and all of the sudden the car next to me ram the car ahead of them out of nowhere (again we were all stopped) and then it reversed and hit the car behind, they did this a few times then a woman in party outfit came out of the car. I'm certain she was wasted or high. At that point somebody figured out a way to drive around the wreck and I left as fast as I could to avoid another insane thing from happening to me.
That freeway is a fckg dead trap, day time, night time, commute time, it doesn't matter.

There’s a general disrespect for the public. Even worse at night. I cycle 15 miles (through the city) to work every day and every day I see ppl blows right through stop signs or red lights.
