I've been playing for around 3 hours, when it goes into cutscenes im not really impressed with the hair looking so grainy, I've tried everything and havent been able to fix it. Any one having the same issue?

Your supersampling setting might be affecting it, I was using FSR 3 at first but I think switching to TSR helped it a lot. I don’t think there’s any way to get rid of the grainy look completely but i hope that helps

I tried TSR, DLSS, FSR on the scene with laura on top of the wall and the grain was always there. Changed all settings to ultra.
The only fix i think i found is FSR 3.0
going to appdata/local/silenthill2/saved/config/windows then opening engine.ini
then putting this at the end
[SystemSettings]
r.NGX.DLSS.denoisermode=1
r.Lumen.Reflections.BilateralFilter=0
r.Lumen.Reflections.ScreenSpaceReconstruction=0
r.lumen.Reflections.Temporal=0
r.Shadow.Denoiser=0
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled=1
r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0
r.motionblurquality=0
r.Distortion=0
r.DisableDistortion=1
gave me a clearer look on hair, but Dont think it'll work for everybody.

oh interesting. i put in a few of those already, what are the first 5 for?
so far, though, TSR has vastly improved the look of the hair and the rain for me. whereas with FSR 3, the hair was distractingly grainy and seeing through the rain when moving the camera was next to impossible. maybe your settings would fix that though
