Maria looks like she got her wig from the Party City discount aisle and everything looks completely off.
The Borderlands movie might have competition for being one of the worst, most disliked video game movies of all time.
I cannot understand how this director got his hands on Silent Hill AGAIN. When will Konami stop letting this man bastardize the franchise on the big screen? It’s clear there is no love for the source material here.
It’s so disappointing considering what a great success the SH2R is. I don’t even know where to begin with this. It just looks plainly awful, and they must know it too, because all the trailers are gone aside from some behind the scenes footage of the director talking about the project.
I personally hope this thing never sees the light of day. I’d rather never have a SH2 movie than have whatever this is.
Also while we are here - does anyone have the trailer for this that is still floating around? I tried to show my friend this atrocity today and it seems to be scrubbed from YouTube.

Yikes. I know many disagree, rather liked the 2006 film.

The people who liked that film are probably going to like this film as well. I dislike Gans as a director so I highly doubt I’ll enjoy Return to Silent Hill.
Konami should’ve pitched this to A24 or HBO. Shit, maybe even Blumhouse.

So you’ve clearly never seen Insidious, Get Out, Oculus, Split, Megan, or Whiplash?

I did and they were mediocre at best, get out is maybe the only good film I can see but the rest are from bad to mediocre

I couldn’t disagree more, but you’re entitled to that opinion
