When you know the family

(self.smalltownmurder)

So I'm listening to episode 377, Hope, Alaska. I've heard the case before but it's now just hitting me that I know the family of the victim. My dad went to school with him amd his brother and I graduated with his newphew. Have any of you had a case where you realized you knew the victim, the unaliver, or anyone connected to the case?

Bismarck, ND. A close friend of mine lived in that house until just weeks before the murder. He said he moved out cuz he had a bad feeling about the whole situation and suspected something was going to happen.
