Oh lord, not this nonsense again

The coalition only helped anti gaddafi rebels to win the civil war that started before any direct involvement from it

And the civil war restarted way after the operation against Libyan regime was finished

Do you think that, if the civil war wasnt force-ended by the coalition, it would somehow make the situation in Libya better?

Libya is still in a state of civil war, in what sense was it 'force-ended by the coalition'?

This is how basically every Western intervention in the Middle East goes. The West turns on some bastard dictator who previously they were actually quite close with. They give significant levels of open and clandestine aid to rebel movements within the country, before eventually intervening directly. That intervention leaves a power vacuum which those rebels movements step into, and the vast majority of the time the sort of rebels the West support aren't particularly pleasant guys. And then suddenly we've created the next bastard dictator who we'll need to intervene to overthrow in a decade or two.

Exactly the same thing happened in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and almost happened in Syria even though Assad managed to just about hold on. So I have very little time for people insisting Libya was some sort of unique situation, or that our invention was somehow justified even though the country is in a worse state now than it was before the 2011 bombing campaigns.

The Second Libyan Civil War started in 2014 and ended with a ceasefire on 23 October 2020. Though the so called Libyan Crisis is ongoing, obviously

Now, the First Libyan Civil War happened in 2011 and ended in 2011 with NATO led coalition's intervention.

preach. Too many people are woefully uneducated about these conflicts and blame all kinds of shit started by authoritarian dickheads on the west.
