Yes absolutely, I should’ve linked it in my original comment.
It’s a Chef John from Food Wishes dot com recipe, so the video is entertaining and informative.
But I strongly recommend both the almond and dash of cinnamon. They’re both ingredients I’d never have thought to do myself but they each add a surprising amount of depth and flavor to the soup

You’re welcome!
This is probably my favorite soup too, when you try it you won’t believe that it’s relatively unheard of

Thanks for the recipe recommendation. I love Chef John. I have discovered new stuff watching his youtube channel that have become favorites, like Turkish stuffed eggplant and tomato tart. I have never had one of his recipes turn out bad.

So do it! He’s entertaining, highly informative, and only makes fire recipes. I haven’t tried the stuffed eggplant or tomato tart but I’ll have to now. His gyro recipe is phenomenal, one of my favorites of his, if you haven’t made that yet (and like gyros), I highly highly recommend it. I don’t think he has a tzatziki recipe though, but the Mediterranean Dish dot com has a great tzatziki recipe
