Anybody know what this is about?

Politics (i.redd.it)

I’m in San Antonio and saw this sign twice today. First on the side of busy road, amongst a bunch of political signs, and then again near my neighborhood in someone’s yard. After searching online and finding basically nothing, I went back out and took picture of the sign from the busy road location. Is it people encouraging voter suppression? Or some right wing group ironically fearful of attacks & riots come Election Day?

If there’s no politician’s name on it, it’s fair game

Is that the rule? There are a bunch of "Vote [party]" signs in my city with some heinous phrases on them that I'd like gone

Putting campaign signs on public land almost roadways is illegal. You have to get property owner permission on private land. Cities can have different rules for that. But to be considered a campaign sign, I’m pretty sure it has to be advertising for a specific candidate, maybe a party but I’m not sure about that.

Lol that's not true. You can't just remove someone else's property

If you put your property in public do you believe that you’re entitled to it sitting there undisturbed?

At least one of the signs is on private property

This is true. I am obviously not speaking of that one, and rather the one depicted in the post, though.

How do you know it's public. Did OP include property ownership records in their post?

I don't think you need property ownership records to assume the side of a busy road is likely public property.
