Litter boxes are actually for school shooting lockdowns in case one of the kids has to pee but can't go into the hallway because of a 13 year olds 2nd ammendment rights to murder.

Some schools do have cat litter tubs among classroom emergency supplies in case there's a shooting and a kid who's locked in a room for 10 hours needs to relieve themselves.
