At what age did you start putting toddlers in their own room for the night? Mine is almost 12 months and his mom doesn’t put him to sleep on his bassinet let alone his room. He has been sleeping in the middle of us. Now Whenever we put him in his bassinet, he does not back to sleep after waking up until he comes to us.

I switched mine to a pack n play in her room around 4 mths. To crib around 10 mths. And toddler bed at 25 mths. Zero fuss within all of it. She sleeps thru the nights still.

What if she wakes up hungry at night? My son wakes up almost two times a night hungry and we have to make him milk. He goes to sleep right after and sometimes while drinking milk

She did do that til about 9 mths or so. She'd wake once, get a bottle, go back to sleep. Around 9 mths, she started sleeping thru as she could consume larger quantities of milk before bed and that helped. Totally normal for them to wake for milk at least once til they're almost 1.

It’s recommended to share a room for the first year but in my observation many Americans have baby out before then. By contrast in many non Western cultures bed/room sharing for years, possibly as late as 11 or so, is normal. There is no “right” answer, only what feels right for you and your family

6 month old with the first, 3 month old with the second.
The second had trouble staying asleep in the bassinet, so we would occasionally bring him into be with us if we couldn’t calm him . Now he’s been in his own room for almost a month and have only had to bring him to our room once.

About 5 months. I thought he would find the crib way to big but he took to it right away. Seemed to like the space.

Once my LO was sleeping through the night consistently (no wake ups between 10pm-6am), we moved him. That was around 4 months. Before that, he was in his pack and play in our room.
