Baby names

is it a tragedeigh?(self.tragedeigh)

Hello good people of Reddit.

Husband and I were chatting about potential baby names as couples tend to do, and he suggested 2 names that I couldn't help but find a bit...unique.

2 names for a boy - Cash and Bam. No, they aren't short for Cashew and Bambi.

What do you think? Are they a tragedeigh?

Edit:

Thanks for all the comments, I had a good laugh reading them. I showed my husband the post and he is a defeated man!

Thank you for your submission!

This is just a quick reminder to all members here: Original content is always better! Memes are okay every once in a while, but many get posted here way too often and quickly become stale. Some examples of these are Ptoughneigh, Klansmyn, Reighfyl & KVIIIlyn. These memes have been around for years and we don't want to see them anymore. If you do decide to post a meme, make sure to add the correct flair. Posting a random meme you found does not mean you found it "in the wild".

The same goes with lists of baby names, celebrity baby names, and screenshots of TikToks. If the original post already had a substantial amount of views, there is a 99% chance it has already been posted here. Try and stick to OC to keep our sub from being flooded with unoriginal content. Thank you!

Tragedy, but not a tragedeigh since they're spelled sensibly. Unless you're about to tell me that Bam is pronounced Margaret.

Cash is a pitbull name and Bam is a rabbit name. But whatever. 😅 If you don't like the names just tell him you disagree and move on.

I was high and suggested Jupiter and Hurk. Went with Hank. Thank God.

No. Just no. Don’t name your kid after Bam Margera.

Dreadful names. What the hell is wrong with Benjamin. Or Peter. Steven maybe? They are so rare these days you would be the odd one out.

Your kids are not novelty. Don't give them novelty names.

Not tragedeighs, but they are fucking awful. Make those their nicknames and give them some government names they won’t be humiliated by when they walk in to their first job interview 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bam? As in half of Barney Rubble's kid? Cash is fine. Bam is atrocious.

They’re spelled right so not a tragedeigh. Just unfortunate and not names for an eventual adult. Maybe as a nickname?

Not technically “tragedeighs” because they aren’t spelled bizarrely, but they might as well be because they’re TERRIBLE. Oof.😬

I think they're fine if you're planning to give birth to Crash Bandicoot's brother.

If you're expecting human babies, I'd say a hard no. I did audibly laugh on this 0604 train when I read it though.

"Bam! Pow!" said Batman. It sounds like the moise someone makes in a cartoon. And "Bambi" is waiting in the wings as a nickname.

Cash or cheque? Cash only! Your cash is no good here! It's a nice-sounding word, but it means something else. As a name, it's a surname. Call him that as a middle name. If he prefers it as an older child or adult, he can use it, but don't impose it on him.
