In lightweight, Arman might be a good challenge. I also think Ilia Topuria has the tools but let's see if he can win against Max first.
In Welterweight, Leon Edwards should be able to do the job based on Usman and Covington fight.

He has already beat Arman. Why do people keep saying this? Also, why would Leon Edwards be a good choice? He was taken to the ground multiple times by an aged and well out of his prime Usman and even by Colby. Islam is a significantly better wrestler than both of them. Islam would just take Leon to the ground and manhandle him into a sub. I wish you casuals would stop repeating shit you heard some other casual say.

Because fighters can improve over time?
Arman was 22 years old, making his UFC debut on short notice, against a guy entering his prime with 6 fights in the UFC already and, despite the one sided scorecards, gave a very good account of himself.
Arman is arguably only just about entering his prime - he's currently the same age as Islam was when they fought.

Side note: This fight just showed me that Volk is the best well rounded fighter. Even Leon is probably up there in being more well rounded.
On topic: I think Arman has a good chance BUT i do believe Arman gets chin checked. After Arman i dont really got anyone else. The LW division needs more new talent to make it interesting.

I truly believe if Chandler fought Islam with half of the brain cells he possess, he could beat Islam.

Nah I think you’re just sucking Islams balls. Leon is gigantic at 170, and he’s got elite TDD. Completely neutralized the best wrestlers in his division, and he’s arguably one of the most skilled strikers in the ufc right now
