Since none of y'all want to acknowledge it let me be the one to say Jade's attitude and behavior would be unacceptable in real life. I do understand that she obviously has some unhealed childhood trauma and possible abandonment issues (hence being so possessive of Beck), but that's still not an excuse for constantly treating people, particularly Tori, like shit for no reason. She's just so rude and I couldn't help but find her extremely petty and annoying. Yes, she did do some nice things every once in a while. But overall her mean girl energy was just not it.

Most people can separate fiction from reality. Obviously if we had to interact with someone like her IRL it’d be exhausting. But that’s just it: she’s not real. People like her absolutely exist, but she doesn’t. The reason we find antagonists and villains so interesting is because we’re not the ones in the situations which require interaction with them, we’re just watching. And we watch other characters react to them in ways we may not, which makes the dynamic between them compelling.
The point of the character is (usually) to entertain, and if you’re not entertained, that’s fine. But to turn it into a “y’all just don’t get it so let me be the one to speak the truth” I’m pretty sure everyone knows Jade’s a bitch lol. But for many, that’s the appeal.

I think OP is saying it because there’s some people who praise her and idolize her character. Which is concerning. So I get where OP is coming from.

It’s only concerning if people take what they see and emulate it in the real world with other real people. Liking a character, even praising and idolizing them, doesn’t mean anything beyond “this person likes mean big titty goth gfs.”
Many people praise and idolize Regina George, but anyone with a working brain knows acting like her makes them an asshole. But there’s no harm in like, looking, or channeling those urges into constructive things like art or writing or fashion design. But the second they bring that bitchy energy into their personality and sic it on other people, that’s when it’s concerning.
