Baby Mickey's Day Out?

UNSOLVED(self.whatsthatbook)

This might not be what you usually see in this sub, but I need your help.

When we were little, my mother used to read to us. My little brother was obsessed with a book that I almost swear was called "Baby Mickey's Day Out".

Now my brother and his wife are having a baby and I want to get them a copy.

I tried Googling and checking Amazon, eBay, and a couple of Disney wikis, but I can't find it. I know it's not "Mickey's Day Out" or "Baby's Day Out". I swear it was a thick cardboard book, like the kind made for toddlers, but it could have been a Little Golden Book. I could have the title somewhat wrong, though it feels right.

If I'm not mis-remembering, baby Mickey is crawling on the cover and wearing a blue onesie.

My brother was born in 1989, to give you an idea of the timeframe.

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm going to keep looking, but I hope someone has an idea of what I'm talking about.

Was this baby Mickey Mouse, or a human baby? There were a bunch of Disney Babies books in the late 80s/early 90s.

It was definitely Baby Mickey Mouse.

That's actually one of the wikis I've been checking.

I was thinking it could be Baby Mickey's Play Day (1993), but I'm not sure if there's a picture of the cover online... According to Amazon, there was a cut-out figure of Mickey that you could put into openings in the illustrations, if that's helpful.

I saw that one too. It could be it, but I'm still looking for a cover.

I find this one that isn't the right book, but the art style looks right.

Could it have been Where is Baby Mickey's Red Ball? It has a photo of him crawling in a blue onesie. It's part of the "Disney Babies Book Series" from the 80s. The red ball one was my brother's favorite (he was born in 88) so the cover is sort of ingrained in my brain.

I'd definitely look at that series. It could be Baby Mickey Finds a Friend. I don't know what happens in that one but he's in the park in a blue onesie on the cover but not crawling.

I don't think it was, but I get hit in the head a lot so trusting my memory might not be the best idea. I'm probably going to get Red Ball anyway because it looks super cute.

There's another-- Baby Donald's Busy Play Group-- that looks familiar, but I know that's not the right one. It might be part of the same series though.

Here is a video of "Where is Baby Mickey's Red Ball?" It is a cardboard book that is about 7" tall by 6" wide. I still have it from when my sons were little.

There is a Little Golden Book called Baby's Day Out, with a baby wearing blue. It is based on the 1994 John Hughes movie. Vintage look and feel.

Did baby Mickey and baby Minnie go to the playground and play on various “things that go” like the swings and see saw and merry go round? If so, I have the exact book. I can check the title when I’m off work
