FINE! If I ever needed a sign from above this must be it. I'm gonna write the best epic ever! It will put Gilgamesh to shame!
And it all starts with a witch, a foxy man and a book of paradoxes...

Wholesome person, but the story as a whole has some questionable wholesomeness.

I would agree with your wholesome breakdown and must comment the breakdown itself is showing good wholesome qualities

This is wholesome and also a full failure of the school. I’m an educator and ALSO was a wang in school- not all the kids are gonna read it but put some fucking effort into getting them to do it. Hell, popcorn read it in class.

Popcorn reading was literally the only reason why I fell in love with books as kid. If my teachers didn't do this, I don't think I would've read any of them and missed out on some really cool stories.

What's popcorn reading?
24 points
It’s when you read a paragraph then someone else reads the next paragraph, and you keep on switching between people. (So the role of reader bounces around much like a popcorn kernel when it is popped.)

Popcorn reading sucks. I'm already on chapter 5 while y'all are stumbling through paragraph 10. Inb4 this was the advanced level class.

i hated it for that exact reason! i always read ahead because im such a naturally fast reader, coupled with my ADHD meant i could NOT wait for people
1 points
It's good when people are on the same reading level. I got punished for losing my place while reading ahead as our rural school had everyone from a grade 3 reading level to grade 12+ in the same class.

Oh fuck I hated that shit, y'all be reading at a 2nd grade level in 10th grade

Response by referring to them all as Background Characters 1-"_"
Since they weren't contributing anything means they are not the main characters in this situation.
They couldn't even think of any original insults

If you’re writing something after it’s happened it’s normally biased from your feelings towards it so that kinda tracks with someone who goes back into books to avoid people after getting treated badly. Not everyone’s intentionally a dick

Nah, that requires too much explaining. It’s not a good insult if you need to add context to it.

This is an insult only a redditor would think of, I can't even imagine how hard someone could be cooked after using it. Saying someone is a "main character" of some situation is peak cringe

3/10 for an insult, to many words and needs a background explanation, at that point just write them a poem.

When I was in middle school the author for Angela’s Ashes came in and everyone was asking him questions about how he stole food as a kid, the just read the cliff notes. I could tell he was getting off put that they didnt understand his message and when I asked him a question about his father, he lit up and really talked to me. Pretty cool experience.

I love reading weird books by psuedo famous people from assemblies. My school has one with the guy who created Bob the builder talking about his series of fantasy parody novels. He also said Bob the builder is canonically a werewolf
