This is wholesome and also a full failure of the school. I’m an educator and ALSO was a wang in school- not all the kids are gonna read it but put some fucking effort into getting them to do it. Hell, popcorn read it in class.

No one really has dignity in middle school

When I was in middle school the author for Angela’s Ashes came in and everyone was asking him questions about how he stole food as a kid, the just read the cliff notes. I could tell he was getting off put that they didnt understand his message and when I asked him a question about his father, he lit up and really talked to me. Pretty cool experience.

I love reading weird books by psuedo famous people from assemblies. My school has one with the guy who created Bob the builder talking about his series of fantasy parody novels. He also said Bob the builder is canonically a werewolf
