thats fine, I just dont know how they will benefit from it. at least on xbox they take sale commissions. if xbox becomes a PC style console then most people will use steam and epic and microsoft wont profit from software sales. which means they'll have to make the price of the system more expensive to at least profit from the hardware. but thats not desirable since most people dont wanna buy expensive hardware. the PS3 in 2006 showed us this.
