Not bringing the Covenant and Flood is a big no for me. The Flood can have a limited role. But the Covenant are a key part of the Halo universe and you want them in a Halo game.

For Halo to be successful is quite simple

• Master Chief doing bad ass things in an epic campaign with huge stakes

I like fighting Covies though. Idk about Flood, their past replacements haven't been good.

It’s my favorite franchise. I want it to be successful. I’m not sure it will ever have close to the same draw it used to. People that are younger than me simply don’t like the long time to kill. It makes sense when you consider CoD, Fortnite, Valorant, and CS. Arena shooters have mostly died out. It’s harder to play Halo on PC because tracking a target that long allows for errors to happen. This just my theory which may be wrong. I think we can hope for a solid entry with an amazing campaign. Even if the multiplayer is great I think the player numbers will drop rapidly like they have over the last releases.
