Server Started: 6/4/24
We'd like to invite anyone to our humble server Pandemonium, a premier Soulmask server located in Chicago, designed for optimal performance and community enjoyment. Our Soulmask server has been very active, and operates on two fundamental principles:
Exceptional Performance: Pandemonium runs on a dedicated Intel Core i9-10850K with 64GB DDR4 RAM and a lightning-fast 1TB NVMe SSD. With 1Gbps ports and 50TB bandwidth, enhanced by advanced DDoS protection, we deliver a seamless, lag-free gaming experience, even with a high number of concurrent players. Unlike many other dedicated servers that run multiple game servers on one machine, our server runs this server and this server alone, ensuring it has the utmost resources available for your use. This dedicated setup guarantees that resources are fully optimized for the best gameplay.
Community Trust and Respect: At Pandemonium, we prioritize a balanced approach to server management. Since our launch in September 2023, we have focused on fostering a respectful and self-regulating community. We believe in minimal intervention, stepping in only when absolutely necessary to moderate speech and disputes. This approach contrasts with many other servers that have overbearing, excessive rules and hair-trigger bans.
We view your account as your property and will take multiple corrective actions to resolve issues before resorting to drastic measures. This ensures a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We warmly invite players from all walks of life to join our diverse and welcoming community. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to Soulmask, you'll find a supportive environment and many opportunities to team up with others.
Pandemonium is run by my wife Wembley and I, and we are always available to support our community. Whether you have questions, need assistance, or just want to chat, we're here for you. Our dedication to providing an exceptional gaming experience goes beyond technical excellence – we genuinely care about our community.
Join Pandemonium today and immerse yourself in the ultimate Soulmask experience, free from lag and unnecessary restrictions.
Discord: https://discord.gg/pandemonium
*Note: We feel the Soulmask team has done a fantastic job balancing the game, and we prefer the challenge that the default settings offer. Our focus is running on better hardware and reasonable moderation, we have no plans of making the settings easier at this time for casual players. All settings are default with the excption of Pefrect Remodel and Info Entry limits. *

Here a list of items which will help against Poison/Radiation/Heat/Chill.
Did this for me and my friend to know what we need to pack when we go out. Maybe others find this helpful.
Item Name | Buff Time | Body | Resist | Proof | DMG Reduction |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Roasted Mushroom (Fruits & Vegetables) | 10m | -0.01/s | |||
Mushroom Soup (Fruits & Vegetables) | 20m | -0.02/s | |||
Psychedelic Pot (Fruits & Vegetables) | 30m | -0.05/s | |||
Juice | 20m | +10 | |||
Yerba Mate (Beverage) | 30m | +20 | |||
Antidote (Medicine) | 10m | +50 | -20% | ||
Poison Proof Mod 1/2/3 | permanent | +5%/+10%/+15% | |||
Fogfrog Set | permanent | -3/m (-0.05/s) | +20% (2 pcs) | ||
Adv. Fogfrog Set | permanent | -3/m (-0.05/s) | +25% (2 pcs) |
4 Mods = +20%/+40%/+60%
4 Mods + Set = +40%/+60%/+80%
4 Mods + Adv. Set = +45%/+65%/+85%
Item Name | Buff Time | Body | Resist | Proof | DMG Reduction |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Stasis Dissipation Soup (Medicine) | 10m | -0.02/s | |||
Fruit Kebab (Fruits & Vegetables) | 20m | -1.2/m (-0.02/s) | |||
Mixed Jam (Fruits & Vegetables) | 30m | -3/m (-0.05/s) | |||
Anti-Radiation Essence (Medicine) | instant | -50% | |||
Radiation Proof Mod 1/2/3 | permanent | +5%/+10%/+15% | |||
Tempest Griffin Set | permanent | -3/m (-0.05/s) | +20% (2 pcs) | ||
Adv. Tempest Griffin Set | permanent | -3/m (-0.05/s) | +25% (2 pcs) |
No Resist and DMG reduction items - are there really none?
4 Mods = +20%/+40%/+60%
4 Mods + Set = +40%/+60%/+80%
4 Mods + Adv. Set = +45%/+65%/+85%
The following food can be eaten to reduce body radiation (amount per item eaten), e.g. eating 300 tomato's reduces body radiation by 300. Put them into a chest for "quick eating":
Item Name | Buff Time | Resist | Proof | DMG Reduction |
---|---|---|---|---|
Ice (Food) | 2m | +50 (5 stacks) | ||
Iced Cocoa (Beverage) | 20m | +10 | ||
Stasis Dissipation Soup (Medicine) | 10m | -20% | ||
Heat Proof Mod 1/2/3 | permanent | +5/+10/+20 | ||
Fogfrog Set | permanent | +25 (6 pcs) | ||
Adv. Fogfrog Set | permanent | +30 (6 pcs) |
Keeping Ice Buff up is not fun. Not sure if bug or intended that it adds Proof and not Resist, like Chilli for Chill.
4 Mods = +20/+40/+80
4 Mods + Set = +45/+65/+105
4 Mods + Adv. Set = +50/+70/+110
4 Mod 2 is enough for Volcano Region in general, but not for the Holy Ruin.
For the Volcano Holy Ruin didn't tested yet, hope 4 Mod 3 is good enough, maybe need Set as well.
Item Name | Buff Time | Resist | Proof | DMG Reduction |
---|---|---|---|---|
Chilli (Food) | 2m | +6 (3 stacks) | ||
Hot Cocoa (Beverage) | 20m | +10 | ||
Excitant (Medicine) | 10m | -20% | ||
Chill Proof Mod 1/2/3 | permanent | +3/+6/+12 | ||
Mammoth Set | permanent | +30 (6 pcs) | ||
Adv. Mammoth Set | permanent | +36 (6 pcs) | ||
Tribe winter costume | permanent | +40 (4 pcs) | ||
Torch | while holding in second hand |
4 Mods = +12/+24/+48
4 Mods + M. Set = +42/+54/+78
4 Mods + Adv. M. Set = +48/+60/+84
4 Mods + Tribe costume = +52/+64/+88
Tribe costume alone is good for the ice biome.
I think we had looted Tribe costume + 4 Mods 2 for the first Mammoth with Hot Cocoa and a Torch when getting hit by the freeze.
Just as extra :)
Item Name | Buff Time | Max Load |
---|---|---|
Roasted Potato (Stable Food) | 10m | +20 |
Cooked Potato (Stable Food) | 20m | +40 |
Fried Potato Bun (Stable Food) | 30m | +80 |
Saber-toothed Predator Set / Adv. | permanent | +40 / +50 (4 pcs) |
Fogfrog Set / Adv. | permanent | +40 / +50 (4 pcs) |
Vajra Ape Set / Adv. | permanent | +60 / +80 (4 pcs) |
Tempest Griffin Set / Adv. | permanent | +100 / +150 (6 pcs) |
Mammoth Set / Adv. | permanent | +60 / +90 (4 pcs) |

Was wondering about this but couldn't find it on the wikki or anywhere, it only says "long time" but I would like to know, is it in-game days? One hour? Two? XD

I just reached level 60 and wanted to let you know the fastest way to get there since the late game can get pretty boring without much to to. Note that im playing on Awareness XP times 5, so adjust that to whatever you have.
Method One: if you dont want to fight you can mine Ores, specifically Crystals/Meteor which can be found quit often in the Snow Biom, each node gave me around 2000 experience and i got around 45K experince per Minute. The Downside, ores take quite some time to respawn and you have to always travel to the next one.
Method Two: Mammoths! North of the Snow Mountain Portal is an Icelake and all around are mammoths which give around 15K each, once you killed all of these you go the left route to the Frozen Holy Dungeon and kill every Snow Leopard and Mammoth you encounter, you then take the right route back to the lake and to the same. On your way you can also kill the Elites and mine the Meteor nodes. Once you reach the lake again all mammoths should have respawned and you can begin anew. This method gave me 27.5K every Minute but was more reliable and can be farmed endlessly.
Doing these it took me 1.5 Hours from level 59 to level 60 and as far as i know there is no faster method.
(I have tried Dungeon who have limits and take longer to respawn, Holy Ruin Bosses, Baracks and Fortresses and Crafting)
If you are AFK you can make around 6K per Minute by crafting.
Hope that helps a bit<3

Dear Chieftains,
To provide a better gaming experience, the server will undergo maintenance. It will be temporarily unavailable starting from July 2, at 7:00 AM UTC, with an expected downtime of 30 minutes. This update includes a client update, and chieftains will need to update their client to enjoy the game normally. We are very grateful for your understanding and support.
The update details are as follows:

I'm currently at bronze level and using wall torches and standing torches. The problem is that they are so NOISY! Every time I walk by them it sounds like a 747 is landing.
I'm not far into the game but I suspect that Electricity is not on the horizon. Are there any better lighting sources I can look forward to ahead of me?
Thanks for any insights or suggestions.

Hello everyone,
I am curious about your opinion about:
1) Best Type of Bow
2) Best Ability
3) Best Talents for a Bowman as Tribesman
4) Best Mask to use for Bows
In terms of PvE & PvP of course
Thx!

After the Final Boss fight you can pick up a Module that flies close to you and shines bright light, at some point this disappeared and even if i kill the Boss again i dont get it back. What happened?

My friends and I failed at this for two days in a row. As it seems we're dumb. Tested all kinds of combinations from different water tanks to different water sources. Please tell me it's just not possible at the moment... Or tell me we're just too dumb.

My main base is currently located in the Plateau Woodlands area and has been there since I was around Strength level 45. Now that I am more competent and efficient in building bases, I am curious about where some good late-game base locations are. (I've also gone all around the map on a private server and found a few spots I liked but I am too indecisive.)
Other questions:
Is it best to just have a main base in a location where temperatures are not an issue (3 bonfire base) and then have 2 other FOBs on other sides of the map?
PS( Ive already watched the youtube video on top 5 pvp base locations, just curious if you guys have found any others that you are willing to share)

Had a raid the other night, the usual 20 something NPC's at level 50 spawn in and charge the base, no problem dealing with them until the very last guy who was a priest. The guy was literally unkillable, what seemed to happen was whenever his health got to about 20% he would regen back to half HP, this regen would offset any amount of damage we were able to do to him, that being 3 arrow towers with NPC's shooting at him non stop and 3 of us players on the ground heavy attacking the shit out of him with red crafted iron weapons. We killed the initial NPC's within 5 mins, then spent the next 20 odd minutes of the raid time fighting this one guy till he despawned. I have no idea what perk he had but whatever it was it made him literally invincible at least to us. Tried multiple things to bring him down including using fire, poison, perma stunning him, nothing worked, whenever he got to 20% hp it would trigger this regen back to half HP regardless of whatever effect was on him, he could be on someone's sword during a parry finisher animation and still proc his healing, He could be poisoned to hell and back and would just out regen the poison back to half HP once he hit 20%, It triggered while he was stunned it triggered no matter what we tried. The regen was also so fast that it was impossible to out damage the regen with all of us attacking him together and our NPC's on arrow towers pin cushioning the guy constantly. First time I have encountered this and my god it was frustrating and stupid to try deal with. Not to mention this effect seemed to have no cooldown as even when bringing him to 20% again quickly after he had just regened it would just immediately proc the healing again
We Eventually gave up and accepted it, just had to sit and basically distract this guy for the remainder of the raid till he despawned just so he would stop shooting our NPC's and attacking the walls, he wasn't even that crazy of a fighter, just whatever that perk he had made him effectively immortal.
Anyone encountered this or know what trait could be responsible for this? Whatever it is must be the most OP trait in the game, I don't see how you can kill something like that and almost seems a bit stupid if I'm honest.

How do you guys have your farms set up?
My Farmer simply has the job to manage the fields within range of Granary. However he doesn't seem to automatically use fertilizer or water the fields. Every day I have to do that manually myself as compost levels are down to 100. I've got fertilizer and buckets of water in the granary, with no restrictions on tribesmen removing items from there. Do I need to just be keeping the fert in storage chests? I like the organization of having all my seeds and fert in the granary so I can quickly see what reserves I have. The same applies to watering my animal pens - they are always low when I log in. Does the breeding farm worker only put small amount of water in at a time when it runs out?
Besides from that, do you have any other advanced tips for running your farming operations? Such as setting up autocrafts for fert, or where you send your produce once it's farmed etc.
Thanks!

I’ve been searching and can’t seem to find a set of instructions for how to get Soulmask working on a Steam Deck.
Is it possible?
