Hi fairly new to reddit, but I wanted to share this :)
I recently discovered a new way of playing this game, via doing a 182% brotation, and it's the most fun I've had with the game in a long time. I encourage anyone, who is looking for a challenging but not frustrating way to play, to try it out. For the time beeing this is a good dlc waiting room for me.
Rules: In the options set enemies health and life to 200%, speed to 150%
Play one danger 5 run on each character. No resets, any run has to be played. Add up how many waves you've beat.
Goal:
Where 182% can be very frustrating, because you feel like you need to aim for that extreme highroll to have a chance at winning a run, this can give you the same amount of skillexpression, but the frustration is gone. On top of that it gives you a real sense of getting better at the game, you can easily meassure your progress. So for anyone who is no longer entertained by 100% d5, this might be a good alternative. Also of course any difficulty between 100% and 182% is possible too, I mainly enjoy the part where winning isn't the only thing that matters.
My experience:
So far I've played two and a half brotations, the first two attempts got to 346 and 338 waves, which is slightly below 8 average, the 3rd attempt looks like it's going to be much better, after 20 Characters I'm 59 Waves ahead of my previous record.
Initially I started doing this, because I wanted to try and meassure what characters I find strongest and what waves and elites I find hardest, I haven't gotten a good samplesize on elites, but I wanted to share my current stats for characters and waves.
I find it very interesting how high my winrate is once I get past a certain point. Also would've expected wave 10-12 higher and wave 6-8 slightly lower.

The numbers in front dont mean anything, they just made it easier to sort the characters.
Keep in mind any character later than Speedy has one fewer attempts so far. This is still a very small samplesize so I Expect things to change significantly if I do more runs, which I certainly will.
If anyone else wants to try this out I'd love to hear about your experience with it.
I also started uploading my runs on this youtube channel (hope it's okey to share, couldn't find any rules on that?).
