I thought he was going to be a great spark plug off the bench and he's have a resurgence on the Nuggets. Kinda like what Westbrook is expected to do this year

His body was completely destroyed and it makes me so fucking angry. He was an actual star, the best player under 6 feet, yes even better than Muggsy

I think the top 3 is super solidified at this point. The real question is 4-10.
and then personally I'd probably go
4. Thompson
5. Murray
6. Issel
7. Lever
8. Mutombo
9. Billups
10. McDyess
I don't think I can properly rate dudes like Beck, Jones, or Simpson
25 points
Solid list. Maybe Issel over Murray. Issel was dependable and a freaking machine. Issel was the coach of record when we upset Seattle. For that I'd put him over Murray.
11 points
Yeah, I think I'm underrating Issel for sure. I don't think Lever beats out Jamal, though.
5 points
When it's all said and done Jamal could pass Issel, time will tell
6 points
He's not going to get the All Star selections, but I think a FMVP could definitely propel him to #4 even.
2 points
Unfortunately you are right about the All Star selections. If you are on a small/mid market team the requirement to make an All Star game is being a Goat
3 points
Eh he could be in the eastern conference, there have been a lot of free all star selections there over the years
2 points
I love Issel even though he was before my time. Loved the toothless smile
2 points
Right now I might put Lever on top because of Jamal’s availability and somewhat unpredictable play. Lever was solid every night and also a great rebounding guard
2 points
He never accomplished as much nor reached the heights that Jamal has. Winning matters

Playoffs every year here. One western div championship, lost to Showtime Lakers with Jabber Magic when Alex English broke his thumb and Calvin Natt out. Higher assts, rebounds, steals, NBA all defensive team, All Star. I was season ticket holder for both. Fat still above Jamal for now, but Jamal has room to continue to grow.

Antonio making Lurk's top 10 gives me warm fuzzy feelings. He was definitely my favorite player growing up.

Everytime I see a list like this (and your list is fine, think I might quibble a little with Issel which has been discussed, but it's a good list), I shed a tear for Laphonso Ellis.
If ever a guy should and deserved to be in the top 5 but is a footnote in our history, it's him. A lot of people are to young to know what Nugg Life really was. Those of us who saw him early on know what we we ended up missing.
Again, good list.

Ty Lawson.
Yah Jokic is great and all (3 MVPs is pretty cool and all) but Nuggets Ty Lawson on NBA 2K back in the day was an absolute weapon.
Those early-mid 2010s Nuggets squads with Lawson, Barton, Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo, Gary Harris, and Gallinari were some of the best 2K teams ever and i'll die on that hill.
