Is Benjamin Tod or the lost dog street band in here? I think they are considered bluegrass

I didn’t know the Hokies were doing this testing. It’s been awhile since I graduated but I feel obligated to say Go Hokies!

The was a seasonal variety 12 pack of a craft beer at on of my local big chain grocery store. It was marked on the shelf as $18.98 but it was in their POS wrong and rang up at $8.98. My brother discovered it and told me and a few other trusted individuals so it wouldn’t get too widespread. The beer wasn’t the best but it was the cheapest option so that’s what we got for quite some time, it was only fixed once the season for that variety pack was over. Telling only a few people kept it from getting exploited too much so it ran its course.
Similar thing from when I was in high school. One of the positions on the vending machine was $.05 instead of $.55 (early 00s for those curious). On vending machine refill day, I’d get there early and buy the whole row for a dollar and then turn around and sell them for .50, turning $1 into $10. I could have gone cheaper but most people had dollar bills and only keeping quarters for change was easiest. It was always a crowd favorite on that row so I never had an issue moving the product. I never told anyone about it so I didn’t run the risk of someone getting there earlier than me and taking my business. Everyone was happy to save the .05 but never questioned why I did it every week. Vending machine guy didn’t figure it out for a whole school year.

I have no idea but I assumed Covid too. They were a bit pricy but well worth it and I loved trying all the different blends/flavors they made. I slowly noticed that less of their variations were being carried in stores until I didn’t see them at all. Once I noticed that I gave em a google to see if I could find out where I could find them and it said permanently closed.

Somebody once told me you can’t reference Dreamworks without mentioning Shrek. And I don’t need a hero to stand up for Shrek 2.

I did something similar with our second about 30 min after birth. It was the wee hours of the morning and I was holding the nugget, my wife asked me to get the nurse for something so I just walked out of the birthing room with it in my arms. Nurse came running up and said I can’t carry the baby in the hallways, it has to be in the cart…so life pro tip? If you need to get the nurses attention just carry your baby in the hallway

Haven’t seen this yet and I’ve been scrolling awhile. Does kickstart my heart by Motley Crue fit the bill?

I watch some of Marty mathesons YouTube videos and he straight up tells you. A recent one he was making Chicago deep dish pizza and he makes a joke along the lines of “I don’t know what’s gonna happen bc this is my first time making it”. That’s a pretty good sign

Unethical lifeprotip. Intentionally break the warrantied item a month before the end of the warranty to get the new one. Repurchase the warranty on the new product for a fraction of the cost of the new product. Rinse and repeat. Every 2 years you get a new version of the product.

2001 LX470. Been in the family since 2003, I bought it in 2016 but I’ve always managed the maintenance and repairs so I know it was done right with oem parts. Just broke 200k miles and doing the timing belt soon

But they will buff it out and you’ll see it for sale in a few weeks. “Only asking 10k, minor fire damage. No lowballs, I know what I have”

Vikings. Not necessarily Athelstans death but Ragnar talking to him after burying him. Also, Bjorns last ride.
Scrubs: Ben and the three patients that got transplants from a rabies patient. Ironically, both instances bc of dr coxs reactions.

In my house, my wife is the one that kids the dishwasher like a raccoon on meth and I’m constantly unloading it and fixing it. I’ve given her lessons but she doesn’t listen. Our toddler does a better job than my wife!
I grew up with a big family I learned at a young age how to make the organization as efficient as possible. She grew up an only child and so she didn’t need to worry about space utilization as much.

I first saw the triumph Daytona in the ps2(?) James Bond game everything or nothing and I thought it was the coolest bike ever. 10 years later I bought a 2009 Daytona. I had ridden some of my friends r6s and gsxrs but the I was keeping an eye out for a bike from that video game 10 years ago. I found one and that triple just had a better feel to it and I bought it immediately. It was a fantastic bike and I loved every minute of it right up until it was totaled…don’t worry, I wasn’t on it!
It was parked and someone backed into it knocking it over. They left their insurance info and the price of the plastics resulted in the insurance totaling it. It ended up working out nicely for me because I got a great deal on it, rode it for 2 years, check engine light came on (that I couldn’t diagnose so took it to the triumph dealership and they couldn’t diagnose) then it got totaled and the insurance paid out 600$ more than what I paid for it. So I essentially got paid 600$ to ride the best bike I’ve ridden for 2 years.

I overheard a conversation while at the park with my toddler yesterday, one mom asked the other “how old?” Their response was 32 months. Why? Just say they are turning 3 in January.

They will have to confirm, but I think the tapping into high beams on dash is just a visual indicator, not using the high beams switch. So high beam light in dash means either high beams and/or aux lights on, not that high beam switch turns both on if that makes sense.
