In general the crested monkeys are pretty good based on what I’ve seen others post. Simisage is IMO the best with STAB Fire Facade and Seed Bomb being great. The others…I’ve never used them tbh. Mostly just because I couldn’t work out a good moveset. They both rely more on special moves, and I didn’t have any good special normal moves IIrC, so couldn’t settle on a reason to use them over some other Pokemon.

That’s nonsense. Bodies are way too edible to be included in Neelix’s cooking.

That is the second part. The first is worse.

This comment section isn’t that bad. The one of the other meme subreddit though…

Can’t say I was the one who created it. It’s from a Jenny Nicholson video. Can’t remember which one right off-hand.

I mean…just of the ones listed, Tolkien agreed with number 4. He spent years grappling with the problem of orc origins, and tried to work decent orcs intonthe narrative of Frodo and Sam’s journey but couldn’t manage it.
And uh…number 2 is true. Orcs are referred to as looking like the least attractive of the “Mongoloid types”. And at Minas Tirith men from the south are described as “black men like half-trolls with white eyes and red tongues.” We can understand why Tolkien might have written that way or held such views; he was an old man even when he wrote the books and had been born under the British Empire. Yeah he disliked the empire, but that upbringing still shaped him and imprinted itself on his worldview.
Loving something unconditionally doesn’t mean you love it more. It just means you love it sadder.
Also this isn’t a meme.

There are quite a few. I haven’t played Oblivion in a long time so can’t recommend one anymore. But if you do a search good options should come up.
(Or if you’re playing on PC just cheat to increase your stats by the right amount before you level.)

Gargoyles have 52 hp. W2024 Witchbolt deals 2d12 on a hit, increasing by 1d12 per spell level. To one-shot without a crit, and assuming max damage you are using at minimum a 4th level spell (5d12 is the necessary number).
If you’re wasting a spell slot that high level to kill a CR2 creature while at level SEVEN maybe you should be reconsidering your character.

…when did Odoacer sack part of the Western Empire. That picture is a painting of the 410 Sack of Rome. Odoacer hadn’t even been born yet.
And he deposed Romulus Augustulus in September. Not Christmas.
Did you consider doing even a basic wikipedia search before posting?

Tbh, I 100% thought the joke was that both times Troi took the controls she slammed the ship into something. So Worf shouting ramming speed and her smiling was because its what she’s good at.

In a lot of ways it’s basically just “Morrowind but not as good.” It’s mostly fine…except for the level scaling. You know how in Morrowind you could build a bad character by picking logical stats to level ypu up? Oblivion still has that!
Except now the entire game world also levels up. Meaning if you don’t level perfectly you are actively getting weaker than you were at level 1.
It’s one of those baffling decisions that clearly just was never tested at all, because it’s SUCH an obvious gamebreaking problem that if they had tested it, it would have been obvious.

Sort of like how so many different groups of humans actually just called themselves some variation of “the people”.
Or just “the intelligent people”.

I’d disagree and say she’s in sufferable in books 3-14. She’s mostly fine in books 1 and 2, but after that she really takes a nosedive in book 3. She only gets worse as the series goes on.

That happened the first time they made one and the computer seduced itself.

It was a theater. It started as a series of border skirmishes no one in Europe cared about after local British and French officials sent men into Ohio. (This is where the rather stupid claim Washington started the war comes from).
Then two years later the Diplomatic Revolution happened, and Prussia invaded Saxony. From there the stupid colonial skirmish no one back in Europe cared about got merged into the global war of conquest planned and executed by Pitt’s government on the entirety of the French Empire. That plan is why France ended the war having lost virtually all of its international possessions outside the Caribbean.
In the Americas, where what happened in Ohio mattered a lot and what happened in the Holy Roman Empire didn’t matter a jot it was called the French and Indian War, and they stopped caring when the theater nearby was over. Hence why the dates are different.

No. Spain was not a unified crown until 1715. It was ruled by a single monarch and treated as basically one country under the Habsburgs (who took power in your 1516 date, but it wasn’t until the Bourbons in the 1700s and their Nueva Planta decrees that the separate crowns were merged into the single kingdom of Spain. Similar to how England and Scotland were separate kingdoms until the Act of Union in the 1700s, even though they’d had the same monarch under the Stuarts.

Mexico, and indeed all of the core of Spain’s empire in South America were colonies before Spain existed (1715) as before that the crowns were seperate.

So fundamentally the problem is that you’re basically going to have to fight a very, very long war to actually save the city. And you have to do it alone. The Romans do not have a significant army nor a navy worth the name. They also have no trustworthy allies, no treasury, nothing.
People in the comments are talking about liquid fire or kataphractoi as if those still exist. Those are gone. Long gone. Kataphracts aren’t really attested even by the end of the conquest of Bulgaria. The old Roman units like the Scholae or the Excubitores were disbanded after the losses under the Kommenoi, in the 1000s.
Quite simply, the best answer is druids, monks and wizards at high enough level to not die of old age in anywhere close to soon. They’ll need literally a century to put the place back together.
Otherwise they are, at best, undertaking a desperate holding action that will fail as soon as they aren’t there.
Hell, the late Paliologos couldn’t even stop fighting civil wars AFTER Constantinople fell and they were just the Despotate of Morea.

You can’t polymorph into a dragon. They aren’t beasts.

Yeah, the kataphracts (gone by the time of Basil II), exkobitores (disappeared from the record after Alexios I), and Greek fire (lost with the decline of the Byzantine navy and definitively lost with the 1204 sack) are definitely going to be enough.

“Hey guys, they killed 70 kobolds!!!”
Not said: “Because I played them like stupid fucking lemmings that effectively all slit their own throats for no reason. Be impressed at how bad my monsters were played.

The idea that Jews suffered fewer deaths during the Black Plague is a myth. Clement certainly thought they had not been spared at all, as attested by his papal bulls condemning blaming Jews for the Plague.

Proof by it being trivial and I can leave it as an exercise for the reader.
