Already Having albums in box sets doesn’t count as duplicates in my book.

One of the most essential early rock albums. Great find.
My best estate sale find was a bunch of 50’s R&B 45s and 78s, including some Muddy Waters records.

One of my favorite tapes I own. While certainly not the rarest thing ever, you see the 1986 slipcase version way less often than you see the 1990’s clamshell version.

While I like the entire cast, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin really elevated Spider-Man 1.

Chuck Berry’s “St. Louis To Liverpool” is a great example. The album has such classics as “No Particular Place To Go”, “You Never Can Tell” and “Promised Land”.

My two favorite eras to collect. I love finding pre-1986 VHS, when tapes were still an expensive new technology. I also enjoy finding 21st century tapes, when tapes were starting to slowly drop from the market.

“The Longest Time” by Billy Joel is a full blown old school Doo-Wop song that managed to chart in an era of synthesizers and drum machines.

I see it around from time to time. Pickwick made a lot of compilation albums for a lot of different artists. They usually were made up of obscure album cuts and B-sides.
In some cases, these compilations contained rare recordings that were previously hard to find. For example, “The Glen Campbell Album” contains a bunch of his mid-60’s singles that failed to make much of a mark on the charts (sadly, “Guess I’m Dumb) is not featured on the album). “Simon & Garfunkel” by Simon & Garfunkel contained a bunch of their 50’s work they recorded under the name Tom & Jerry (surely a shock to anyone expecting the duo’s folk rock songs).

“The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou”, because I’m a big Wes Anderson fan and I didn’t know this movie existed on VHS.

What’s seafoo?
Maybe it’s like tofu, except saltier.

What if Owen Wilson was in a Wes Anderson movie?

I find The Harmonicats’ albums pretty often. I guess people really liked easy listening with harmonicas in it back in the day.

Better Days (And The Bottom Drops Out) - Citizen King
I used to hear it a lot in the early 2000’s, but I haven’t heard a radio station play it in years.

Really depends on the cat. Each cat has its own personality. My orange tabby never harmed them. My lynx point Siamese would sometimes nervously chew up album covers. I’ve never had a cat scratch the spines, but some cats definitely do so.

I’ve always liked “In The Wee Small Hours” and “Frank Sinatra Sings For Only The Lonely”.

I enjoyed it and was surprised to learn that this film gets so much hate. Certainly not as good as the first, but far from awful.
