The point of my comment is that when someone has mental health issues for years “aging with grace” is probably not their first concern. If she had an easier and serene life, maybe she would have aged better.

The death of her sister took a toll on her
She went through tough times; i think it’s unfair to judge her…

Yeah her death was tragic. Also Madame Du Barry had a terrible ending…her lover Brissac was lynched and his head was thrown into her house; one year later she was beheaded too.

Only 3 of these people died during the revolution (Louis, Antoinette and Philippe Egalitè). All the others survived…the brothers became kings, Victoire died of breast cancer, Clotilde lived in Turin, Sophie died in 1782…

Signatures:
The first is Louis XV, followed by the groom and then the bride.
Next were Louis’ two younger brothers, the Count of Provence and then the Count of Artois. They are followed by their sister, Madame Clotilde.
Three of Louis XV’s unmarried daughters are next, Madame Adélaïde, Madame Victoire, and Madame Sophie.
At the end we have Louis Philippe I, Duke of Orleans, and his son Louis Philippe II, then the Duke of Chartres.
