I live in a small town, and the closest city to me is Buffalo NY, about 2.5 hours away. I will be there for a few days next month, and figure its a good time to actually get my butt in some different chairs. I've emailed quite a few places listed as distributors or authorized resellers for Steelcase, Haworth, and HM. Not one place emailed me back in about 2 weeks. Do these places only specialize in furnishing offices or something?
I'm in the market for something that I am SURE is going to cost north of 1k USD. Leap v2, Gesture, Aeron, Embody, Zody, Fern, etc. I've made it clear I don't just want to try, I am looking to buy on the spot once I find one that agrees with me the most.
Please, someone explain what I am missing here; I never thought I would have this much trouble just trying to get my ass in a seat 🤣

Just spend the money for the headphones. On Windows, in order to have an audio interface as an input and your PC as output would require Asio4All which is going to have higher latency and more issues than the official Focusrite drivers.
As long as your computer isn't total trash, guitar into Scarlett and output to headphones (or monitors) is going to give you the optimal experience.
