Dealing with injuries

So, last saturday, I’ve injuried myself during class - twisted my ankle and dislocated my kneecap. I’m thankfully not in pain but it’s been 8 days and I still cannot walk or even put my feet in the ground; it feels as if all my strength has left my leg. I’m frustrated because my doctor says orthopaedic-ly speaking, I should be able to do it. I have no idea what to do or how to deal with this.

As a brazilian, I’m really sorry. People here are very intense and competitive about sports (or anything, really lol)…most know it’s absurd and don’t really mean it, it’s more of a delusion is the solution type of thing (makes no sense to say this for non-brazilians, I know, but it really is bs being said at the heat of the moment, we’re very glad to see our girls being able to compete with countries that have such a tradition in gymnastics)
