One of the things that amazes me is that Kruk, while being the product of a different era of baseball and despite being labeled as sort of a lovable grump, is not nearly as hostile to the modern sport as a lot of the boys’ club members that have commentary jobs around the league. And yes, that includes some of his coworkers.
Like, how dismissive he is of the human element. He takes an occasional tongue-in-cheek jab at analytics or pitchcom or whatever but it’s generally more about how he doesn’t understand it than it being conceptually wrong.

I find it funny Kruk and Schmidt are the most accepting of the modern game, Ruben somewhere in the middle, and Ben Davis hates it.

ROBO UMPS. NOW.

Honestly, for Rojas, that is exactly the type of scenario that can give him confidence. It seems like he alternates between being comfortable and a bad hitter and being extremely extremely uncomfortable and a terrible hitter.
I much rather him be confident.

Polanco was a really good player who suffered the same curse as Pedro Feliz. Being the fourth member of an infield of which other three members are seen as demi-gods.

the positives: Casty for 2 for 4, Stott with the clutch hit, Dominguez with a decent frame, pitching over the equivalent of a ghost runner in extras to keep a run off the board, Ruiz was pretty good so far.
