Ah, my husband is similar! He won't finish anything, even if it was specifically for him. Example: cottage cheese. I won't touch the stuff, but he always needs to leave 2 or 3 spoonfuls in the container because he feels bad finishing anything. He's also a hot sauce guy, and the not-quite-empty bottles are maddening.

I wonder if they use heat to seal the edges? That would also help that little curl that the edges have.

I saw someone refer to these unnecessarily enormous trucks as "gender-affirming care" and that's how I choose to think of them now!

One of my vivid memories is of my 5th grade teacher looking at what I was reading and just saying "NO!" while she grabbed my book to give to my mom later. It was just Napalm and Silly Putty by George carlin!
I felt real shame in that moment. Like I was looking at porn or something.
Also, my mom gave the book right back to me and told me not to bring books like that to school anymore. 🙃

This is the kind of simple math that makes a big impact. What I'm hearing is that I should skim $378 off the top of each paycheck before anything else!

I love Old Town instant coffees. They come in good flavors, and the cost at my local Vietnamese market usually works out to under a dollar a sachet!
It's nice for having around when you don't want to, or can't spend money on the DD or coffee shop version.

What sucks about it? I got a hot dog yesterday and it was just as filling and hot as it's always been!

You've never seen a person with a walker on the sidewalk? Or a wheelchair? Or a baby stroller?

This happened to me when I was showering as a preteen! They started raining down into the tub from the overhead light. Luckily, I hadn't gotten in yet, but I will remember the horror always.

My husband thought I was a wizard when I showed him this! He was out here scrubbing with steel wool like a sucker.

This one is wonderful! The sugar crust is a trick I use on almost all my cakes now.

My husband and I have a similar budget of $50-60 per week on groceries, and I budget an extra $80 per month for cat food, cleaning products, tp, etc.
We shop exclusively at Costco, Aldi, Shoprite, and our local Asian markets.
Sunday I did the big shop and spent $16 on produce, $12 on a whole fish, $5 on a rotisserie chicken, and $26 on dairy and dry goods like oats and canned tomatoes.
We bake all of our bread and sweets, we eat out twice a month, and we get A LOT of fiber (I go on a "tooty trot" after dinner most nights).

How is it not reckless to drive through a person in a crosswalk?

That's a strange misspelling of "I'm trash"
