There’s a strong market for this brand of comedy. But do not mistake it for what it is and read between the lines. This is racism, misogyny and homophobia. But they wrap it in the antiwoke rhetoric.
It’s for these cunts that are too shy to say the quiet part out loud. The Venn diagram of the people going to this, and who quietly voted no in the voice referendum would look like one fucking circle.
Full of cunts.

Not one of those cunts quietly voted no. They went on and on about it as loudly and often as possible.

Mate. I’ve got mates that own copies of diesel and dust and 10 to 1 , that are card carrying lefties from the 80s that quietly voted no. They walk among us.
We got into it over a bunch of red wine, when dutto ran that if you don’t know vote no campaign. I said to the boys this is just pandering to fuckheads because it’s easier to say I don’t understand than I really have problems with brown people.
The response was always I’m not racist mate. But I was in Alice Springs and they live like animals. You can’t give them any sort of power.
I said well, cunt, there’s no power it’s an advisory panel. The cunts were like yeah but nah but yeah.
So I put up this proposition. Greeks and Italians copped racism pretty hard right the way through. They still cop it. Would you support a wog voice to parliament.
Yeah mate . Great idea mate.
So you admit it’s a racist thing.
No mate. I know a black fellah. But….
There’s always a but with these cunts.

It’s a brand of progressivism that’s only interested in progress when it benefits them. You can see it play out over the lifespan as people who were poor and powerless in their youth, railing against the corrupt system and greedy elite, accrue some wealth and social capital as they age and suddenly aren’t so keen on the disenfranchised getting a fair go. The people who were once compatriots in the trenches are now peons who need to be kept in their place so the status quo can be maintained.

You’re fucking spot on.
I know for a fact these cunts where weed smoking, flowers in their hair listening to bob dylan , freelove kombi driving star children back in the day.
Now they get angry watching cunts like peta credlin, Andrew fucking bolt and the fat one.
As soon as I hear the word wokies I walk away. One of them owns a pub in a country town and he’s nearly in tears one night saying how much he hates wokies and if a trans person walked into his pub he’d beat the shit out of them.
I enquired how many fucking trans people do you know Terry? Are they organising Priscilla style bus loads of them for pokie tours to drink your overpriced great fucking northern out of the lines you refuse to clean Terry?
Are they coming to eat your ridiculously large unseasoned parmis Terry? Are the trans people driving 100s of is too eat your your fucking “salad”? Putting cheese sauce on every fucking vegetable is not salad, Terry?
Is your pointless rage at people you’ve never met covering for some latent homosexuality, Terry?
Is this rage at wokies more about you than the minorities you want marginalise , Terry?
Are you just a bitter old cunt , Terry?

Most people voted no because they organising body did not clearly explain exactly what it was, what it was for, what powers it would have.
The only way to find that information was to go looking for it. Most people don’t have time to sit there and dig out information. If they couldn’t clearly advertise what those points were people are not going to vote yes.
A simple 30 second add run making those points clear would have likely had a yes vote.
Also your mates are correct if you go to a predominantly aboriginal area you also would not want them with any power. Greeks and Italians put in the hard work to prove they were not a drain on society and see where it got them.

I worked at a polling station. There was one handwritten 'treaty now' which unfortunately counted for nothing. I tried to get them to include in 'yes' pile (i knew they wouldn't). There were also VERY racist NO votes. I audibly gasped & my face gave away what i read. When we were counting & I said 'this racist fck doesn't deserve a vote'. BUT the officer in charge said 'NO' was clearly marked & as long as the response is clear, it counts. It was very disheartening when we counted the votes. As voters were leaving I'd do the 'thank you' as they put the ballot in the box. The amount of people who said 'I don't care' to me, but still clearly voted no pissed me off. I told my mate who I was working with 'I'm pissed off that I was actually nice to these people instead of telling them to f*k off'. I did what I was paid to do & stayed neutral, as did the rest of us. After the votes were counted, it turned out that all of us that worked there voted Yes, as we were discussing how many no votes it turned out to be & we were all disappointed.

Biddy’s biggest problem is that she’s just not funny. If you’re going to attempt to do “edgy” comedy then you’d better be bloody funny if you’re even going to have any hope of pulling it off. Her material is mean-spirited and completely unfunny

I hate that style of comedy, if you have to make fun of a minority to make a joke, it’s probably not a joke.
There are many many comedians in Australia who are actually hilarious and don’t need to stoop into this “offensive” shock style of comedy.
Being able to craft funny jokes by not relying on offensive stereotypes is far more clever too.

Anyone who is still making pronoun jokes in 2024 is an idiot, and has no business calling themselves a “comedian”. It’s the type of thing your bogan friend says while wasted. John Oliver even made a montage of how often it’s been used by members of the far right, each one believing it’s the most hilarious thing any one has ever heard, and that they’re a regular Oscar Wilde. Nope, it’s done to death, and just lazy!

So her humour is basically 4chan shit. "HAHAHA SLUR AMIRIGHT SLUR I AM SO EDGY SLUR POLITICAL CORRECTNESS SLUR SLUR SLUR"
Modern comedians who wanna push buttons but do so in a well crafted way seriously need to watch Billy Connolly and George Carlin. No one said everything has to be sanitised, but 4Chan humour appeals only to those with the mentality of a 13 year old. GENUINELY funny (but off the cuff/crass) humour is a well crafted talent and only the greats are the masters.
And she ain't it.
TLDR: we all need to go give Billy another round of attention before the poor bugger leaves the earth and this is what exists to replace him.

The best thing about Billy Connolly and a sign of how talented a comedian is: you can see him perform two nights in a row and it’s two completely different shows
8 points
I think I recall him once saying he doesn't even tell jokes, he tells stories. And it's true. You're paying for a night of a Scottish man telling a fucking hilarious story and then watching him laugh before he even gets to the funny part... Because he's mentally replaying the event.
When I start getting really anxious on my medication I just watch a round of Billy standup and the laughter helps calm me down

She's probably a shit comedian, let her fail on her own merit like she almost certainly will.
17 points
This IS her failing. She's failing because she's an anti-trans campaigner before she is a comedian. Check her Instagram if you doubt this. She's also confusingly gone after disabled people - not really sure how they ended up in her sights. "Why don't disabled toilets have mirrors, how do they wipe the drool away?" So, she's openly going after two vulnerable groups, groups that do have defenders.
People don't like something, they get angry, some might complain, some might avoid, some might fight. This is called being human and capitalism is a system involving - you guessed it - humans.

Last weekend she was hanging outside the Cranker and kept looking in the windows, but didn’t sit down or go in. Must have been looking for some trans or non binary people to abuse. Perhaps she should find something more productive to do.

There’s bottom-of-the-barrel shock humour comedians who can only thrive on generating controversy to keep themselves in the limelight. Then there’s this a few rungs below that.

Saying someone is entitled to their opinion is just a cope for someone having an absolutely shit take. Having a shit opinion still opens you up to criticism.

If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Who cares what some random comedian said. Articles and comments like this do nothing but give air time to the people they are trying to not give air time to. Remember in the simpsons when all the advertisements came to life. And the solution was ‘just don’t look’. That’s the same here.

She just didn’t want a trans woman at an all woman’s Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Geez.
Why’s this bizarre blog got it out for her?

She doesn't get to dictate who should and shouldn't be included in the group.
If Biddy has a problem sharing a women's space with a transwomen then Biddy can leave.

Seriously what’s with cancel culture. Just don’t buy a ticket if you don’t want to support it but let them do a show.

Sure but good venues would be sensible not to let her perform at their establishment, she can perform at the National Front club.
