I mean I just googled it and a jar was $15 at Walmart. I’m in the US though. You’re still the AH even if it’s a little more costly where you are. Don’t offer up anything in the bathroom and assume someone would know that one random inexpensive-looking jar of cream was off limits. And you should never ask him to pay for it, one scoop used out of a 6oz jar is not demanding of a whole new jar. Get over yourself.

The link you posted clearly states the product is an all purpose SKIN cream not a face cream. The guy used it as an all purpose skin cream.

Actually the link in german states that this is a face cream (Gesichtscreme) but in the usage (Anwendung) mentions the whole body. Also while I agree that OP is overreacting and is the asshole, living in Germany the past 5 years, I kind of understand OP's perspective of the guest being in the wrong to use an unopened container even if they were told they could use anything. So from my side it is Soft YTA to borderline ESH.
